PROCEEDINGS. - This class action was settled, and the court approved the settlement and awarded $5,800,000 in attorney fees. The court then appointed a special master to review requests for cost reimbursements. Without a hearing, the master recommended reducing the attorney fees, and the court reduced the fees to $3,900,000 without a hearing. After counsel contested the reduction, the master held a hearing, withdrew his recommendation, and instead advised the court on legal and factual issues. The court thereupon enlarged the masters authority to include what the master had done in reviewing attorney fees, and modified the fee amount to $4,250,000. The court certified its order under Utah R. Civ. P. 54(b).
